Hospitality is making your guests feel at home
We were fortunate enough to be involved in an exciting project based in the breath taking Stellenbosch valley at Cultivar Guest Lodge. As with all forms of hospitality the main priority is about making your guests feel as though they are at home. Our responsibility was to transform the eight newly renovated rooms into luxurious spaces that boost a neutral pallet with fresh bursts of colour found in the accessories.
Our favourite items are the bespoke custom manufactured headboards in two styles: deep buttoned and plain profile with rustic beaded edge. They elevate the status of the rooms and make for an ever so enticing bed. The curtains add another ‘wow factor’ to the rooms adding height, flare and elegance. Another element which we love are the indoor/outdoor rugs which we used to ensure a robust and durable rug solution. Rugs are also a great way to add warmth to a tiled room.
We wanted to include some greenery to the rooms without it being labour intensive for the staff. Here we found a great selection of faux planters that accentuate the neutral pallet and add that touch of outdoor to the indoors. As finishing touches we sourced a variety of elegant votive holders, beautiful scatter cushions, throws and bedside lamps to complete the look of the rooms.
All in all we are very pleased with the outcome of the rooms and believe that all who indulge in the luxury that is Cultivar Guest Lodge will enjoy the serenity, beauty and experience that Stellenbosch has to offer. Put your feet up and stay a while!
