Home Renovation

We have come to the conclusion of our Oranjezicht full home renovation. This includes the below mentioned upgrades to this beautiful Victorian flat:

- Two bathroom renovations, both with reconfigured arrangements, new plumbing works and finishes. Beautiful black marble flooring with a seamless finish, raw concrete walls with frame-less shower glass and polished stainless steel fittings. Custom designed solid blackwood vanity units with extension runners and soft closing mechanism. Stone counter top basins and large freestanding stone bath with wall mounted fittings. Large wall mounted mirror vanity unit with ample storage. This monochromatic scheme is strikingly sophisticated.

- The kitchen renovation main goal was to allow for ample counter top and storage which includes a tall pantry cupboard with draws on extension runners and soft closing mechanisms. Floating blackwood shelves to display beautiful culinary accessories. Large black smeg oven with polished stainless steel extractor. Cupboards finished in a white duco spray with mitered finger grips and black kick plate. White marble tops with feature ceramic lab sink which is accentuated with recessed LED strip lighting.

- Scullery renovation for optimal organisation. Although the scullery was designed within a confined space there is ample amount of storage to conceal all cleaning products and equipment with a large double sink. There is washing machine and tumble dryer stack to adequately make use of the limited space. The white carpentry stands proud of the large granite floor tiles which are treated to bring out a dark luster.

- Additional renovations include the rewiring of the entire house and upgrade of switches and light fittings. Finally the walls, cornice and skirting received a new lick of paint to bring it back to life!

Overall we are very happy with the final result that is both a monochromatic dream home with natural timber warmth that speaks of sophistication.
